All US coins dated 2000 have the word LIBERTY on them. Which one?
It's made of brass, not gold, and is worth one dollar.
One dollar, and there's no gold in it.
The coin is a Sacagawea dollar not a liberty dollar and it's only worth a dollar.
Please be more specific and post new qoestion. Two different US one dollar coins are dated 2000, one is silver and one is brass.
These coins were released for circulation and are worth only face value.
If you got it from the bank or in change spend it, only the proof and Mint issued uncirculated coins have more than face value.NOTE: The coin is called a SACAGAWEA dollar and has no gold in it
2000 was the first year for Sacagawea dollar coins, and they're still worth one dollar.
These coins were released for circulation and are worth only face value.
The gold colored Presidential dollar is worth one dollar. These are commonly circulated coins, and contain no gold.
If they are $1 dollar coins, spend them. Just gold colored.
ALL American coins have the word LIBERTY on them, so "liberty dollar" isn't specific enough to ID the coin. If you mean a small, brass-colored dollar with Sacajawea on the front, it's worth exactly $1. If you mean a large silver coin that says "1 oz" on the back, it's a bullion coin and not a dollar meant for spending. Please see the Related Question for more.
