It is taken from the Persian meaning 'Four Gardens' and as such Char comes across like 'chjar' (as in Urdu, Persian, Hindi etc) and 'bagh' like 'bargh', making sure you pronounce the gh from the back of the throat, and not making it silent as some do incorrectly.
