Please re-write so this is understandable.
One square covers 100 square feet, so to cover 1900 square feet of roof you would need 19 squares. However, you also need "starter shingles" and "hip and ridge" shingles, plus you need to have a few extras because of waste from cutting angles. Starter shingles go around the perimeter of the roof as a bottom layer for the first course of shingles. Hip and ridge shingles go, as you might expect, on the hips and ridges. In order to know for sure the exact quantity you would need for the entire roofing job you have to measure all of these areas.

1,500 square feet.
How many bundles of 3-Tab Shingles are needed to cover 80 square feet?
Shingles vary in dimensions, and sometimes there are specific bundles of shingles made for the sole purpose of ridge coverage. If you are using the house shingles for ridge, take the length of ridge to be covered, divided by the exposure of the shingle to determine the number of ridge pieces needed. Normally you will get three pieces out of one full shingle. Once you determine the number of full shingles, find out how many shingles are in a bundle and purchase the smallest bundle of shingles necessary to complete the job.
Your roof surface area will be about 785 Square feet. So you need 8 squares of shingles.
1957 sq feet of shingles will cover 1957 sq feet lol? retard much?
I've seen all types - just as in a regular house. I have 'duroid' shingles as many do. At least 3 neighbours have cedar shakes. and two have corrugated aluminium sheets.
20 squares or 60 bundles
There are many different materials that are needed for roofing such as a hammer, a utility knife, a level, shingles, and nails. The supplies needed for roofing vary greatly depending on the type work that a person is planning to do such as placing shingles on a roof or simple re-tarring areas of the roof.
5.85 squares + 15% waste = ~6.75 squares of material needed 1/3 square per bundle of shingles 20 - 21 bundles of shingles (buy 21 and return the extra if necessary - it's i'mportant to have shingles from the same pallet/factory for matching purposes.
Two squares.
Assuming the room is rectangular - which is usually the case - you simply multiply length x width.
