Analytics is a different service than Maps. Analytics allows a person to check on website activity and who is visiting. Maps lets you get driving directions and even walking directions.
Google has free e-mail accounts, a host search engine, maps, Google Earth, Fusion Tables, Web analytic a Goggle App Engine, and much more technology and information.
You just remove Google analytic coding from your side.
Literally, it's the same as a old atlas (a book of maps), only newer. Figuratively, Mapquest, Google Maps, Google Earth, etc. can be considered modern atlases, as they are also collections of maps.
There are quite a few map websites available online such as Yahoo, Rand McNally, Bing and Mapquest. These maps give the same information as Google Maps.

One can only download Google Maps if their GPS is an "Android" i.e. a GPS bought from Google. If you have one of these then you can download Google Maps straight from "Google Mobile Maps".
Google clearly spells out what you can and cannot do with their products including Google Maps. Since maps and imagery change all the time, Google prefers websites link to an interactive Google Maps via the Google Maps API but there are instances where screenshots to Google Maps imagery is allowed given the rules are followed. Once you disable Google maps, you will lose the maps function
In May of 2000 Google released the French version along with 9 other languages. In April of 2006 Google maps released maps for France and iGoogle was available in June of the same year.
Google Maps doesn't display the imagery dates, but Google Earth does. That's Google Earth the desktop application not the 'Earth' mode found in Google Maps. Google reports that the imagery in Google Maps and Google Earth is on average one to three years old. Since both use the same imagery database you only need to visit the same area in Google Earth and enable the 'Status Bar' in View menu to show the approximate imagery date for a given area in the lower-left corner of the screen.
