Canada has national highways and provincial and municipal ( local ) highways and expressways Our main national is called the Trans-Canada Highway, designated Highway # 1. the longest East-West road in North America. It connects with U.S. Interstate 95 at the top end of Michigan, creating a giant T figure that covers North America.
British people call them motorways, Americans call them highways, but the roads serve essentially the same purpose--high speed travel in rural areas.
You can go to a billboard website, local billboard advertising company, or you can call the number that is listen on blank billboards along the highways and roads of cities.
You call them road builders.
Most highways you should not ride on with or without a saddle. There are different types of highways. There are county, state, or interstate. 2 and 4 lanes of more. They can be isolated or very busy. But the main thing about highways is they are for motor vehicles. It may not be legal and probably is not safe. Call your local roads department and ask them what the laws are regaurding your stretch of road. My advice would be to find a safer road and remember when riding on any road to wear protective head gear.
