There you have it!! The interest...why does US goverment have to pay interest for the money it uses as a medium of exchange. Because US goverment does not print it's own money and have to pay interest to the Federal reserve (privately owned!!) for the money it could have printed on its own (like Abraham Lincoln did ..)
So agreed that it would still have to pay interest to China, but it would get rid of the interest as well as half of its debt (which is to the FED) and the interest!!
Then if US improves it's economy and produce stuff then to consume, it can pay off China's debt which is merely 10% of its total debt!
I really don't care, but why do we owe money to China?
As of July 2014, the estimated amount of money owed to China from the United States is 17 trillion dollars. The US owes China more than any other country.
It is much cheaper to make the products in China
The United States did not get the Jews out of Germany, so they spent no money on that.

Russia and China. Brasil and United states are close, but not THAT much(they are smaller)
Difficult to say - I suspect that the question may be 'how much of the US doesn't China own!
8 million dollars
Japan, South Korea, United States, China, United Kingdom, etc.
$26.84

China pretty much owns the United States because we are in so much debt with them. If their economy drops, Americans will be out on the street.
