When applied to people, yes. The decision to shorten someone's life belongs to God.
Definitely. If giving kife is not in our hands, then we dont have any right to take it.
ive heard that somewhere in the bible it says that your not suppost to masturbate ----------------------------------- There is no one answer to this that everyone will ever agree on. There are many activities that some people consider sinful and other people consider OK. Consider: eating pork, working on the Sabbath, playing cards--all these could be considered sinful, depending on who you ask. My own approach is: (1) decide what, for you, constitutes a sin; (2) based on your definition of sin, evaluate the particular activity.
This is because A big majority of Malaysians (about 55%) is made up of Muslims. To them, active euthanasia is "Islamically" forbidden since killing is a major sin while passive euthanasia is still a debate among Islam scholars.
A Jehovah's Witness believes that life is a sacred gift from God. Doing something like ending someone's life through euthanasia is a direct violation of that gift, and is therefore a sin.
Not according to the bible. There are some people who believe that thinking or dreaming a sin is a sin, though.
Some people deny sin, because they do not want to admit the power of God, thus making themselves accountable.
Christianity views euthanasia as a sin. God has given you the gift of life and it would be wrong for you to reject that gift by killing yourself. Even if you are suffering, that too is part of God's mysterious plan. Right?
some people think euthanasia is like "putting people to sleep" and doctors are playing god. some people think it's as bad as killing someone. some people think it should be allowed because it "puts people out of misery" like someone who is suffering from a painful disease or some misfortune of life and wants to die. it's as big a controversial topic as abortion. Euthanasia should be allowed in presence of a high ranked police officer or a Gazetted officer who is not related to the person. And who will not in anyway gain monetary benefits, like inheriting something.
No. True Christians do not agree with euthanasia. They believe that it is a sin to take away anybody's life, including their own.
It depends on the religion. Some religions, such as Christianity and Islam, consider it a horrible sin to leave. Definitely a good scare tactic to keep believers believing...
The word sin is a religious term so it would depend on what religion you worship. In Islam and some Christian beliefs it is a sin if you aren't married to the target of your temptation. Depending on the situation it may be ill advised, but I do not consider it a sin.
