Europe and Asia are not geographically continents, only politically. Europe and Asia are physically attached to each other and form the larger continent of Eurasia, which geographically is a continent and not politically one. Which means Eurasia has continental drift since it is a continent, while Europe and Asia are not (geographically speaking).
They usually call the area... Eurasia
The EU is the name of an organisation. It is not a country or continent, so Asia and an organisation cannot be considered to be a continent. You are thinking of Europe. Together Europe and Asia form the landmass known as Eurasia, but it is divided by the mountain range called the Urals and some other geographical features, to form two continents. So they are two continents.
As it borders Europe and Asia, you can call it Eurasian.
The largest continent on Earth is Asia although Europe pretty much is a part of it. Asia has most of the part of Russia (they call it Eurasia because it's in Asia and Europe), China, India, and so on.
Oceania.
Asia is the largest continent, located between Europe and Africa and the Pacific Ocean, just above Australia. It is generally between 5°N and 80°N and between 35°E and about 180°E . Asia is the largest continent in the world. Countries like Russia, China, and India inhabit this continent.
Portugal is a country in western Europe, to the west of Spain, on the Iberian peninsula. Portugal is on the continent of Europe. Some people call that continent Eurasia (a combination of Europe and Asia). In that case Portugal would be in Eurasia. Both Europe and Eurasia would be correct answers to that question.
Geographers sometimes call Africa (the worlds second largest continent) as the " plateau continent."
Africa and Europe do not share any common border. Southern Spain and the northern parts of Morocco are separated by the straights of Gibraltar, and this is as close as Africa and Europe get to be. To the east, Europe joins Asia. Some geographers call the combination of the two continents Eurasia (Europe and Asia). If you use the definition of Eurasia then Eurasia joins Africa in Egypt, which is on both sides of the Suez Canal, the separation of the two land masses.
Asia. The Ural mountains are considered a boundary between Europe and Asia, so Russia is partly European as well as Asian. This is very argued and was earlier stated as placed in Eurasia
Asia is the continent.Mount Narodnaya is part of the Ural Mountain Range in Russia, which puts it right on the border of Europe and Asia.So it is probably safer to call it Eurasian.
A person who comes from the continent of Europe is called European.
