Rostam Aziz is a Tanzanian national born 21 August 1960 in Igunga. In 1993 he was elected as a member of the Tanzanian parliament on behalf of the Igunga constituency. He went on to win two consecutive terms as MP. Until November 2007 he served as finance and economic secretary of the Tanzanian parliament. In 2010 he quit politics to focus and grow his family business.
