Queen Neferititi was the beautiful wife of the infamous pharaoh Akhenaton. (The spelling of his name may often vary depending.) Apparently said to be incredibly enchanting, her intricate bust is very famous. Her husband was obsessed with the single sun god, Aton, and did not accept that there was any other god but him. He abolished the worship of all other gods, but many people did not agree with this. When he died, (though some ask whether he was murdered by a high priest or other) his name and picture, along with Neferititi's, were removed from many monuments. Then the reign of his son Tutankhamun began, though at the time he was only nine.
She lived in Egypt.
