Eugenia Theodoria Pierre was a Trinidadian educator, journalist, and civil rights activist. She was a prominent advocate for women's rights and played a crucial role in establishing the Trinidad and Tobago branch of the Women's League of Social Service. Pierre also founded The Soroptimist Club of Port of Spain, which focused on improving the status of women and girls in Trinidad and Tobago.
Pierre was an outstanding netball player who played on the highly decorated 1979 T&T netball team that shared the World Championship with Australia and New Zealand. She later became a government sports minister in Trinidad in 1991-95.
