Manhattan is a beautiful area, and the worst place in New York City that I've visited was 3rd Avenue in The Bronx. The place is filled with housing projects; it smells; it's dirty; the buildings are horrible, with cracked and peeled paint from the walls and fences. It is horrible, this place is also very dangerous and it is not the place you would want to live at. It's the "Gunshot Projects," not a great place. One of the worst places ever.
