Depends greatly on what you want from the dog. Both require a great deal of exercise, though Sibes will usually require more and should not be walked off leash. Both will sometimes be territorial or aggressive toward other dogs (particularly of the same sex), but should be friendly with humans. Sibes require much more grooming, and are very independent and thus can be difficult for new dog owners to train. They are also much more likely to howl and often don't do well in hot weather.

Personally I prefer Sibes--the person who wrote the original answer preferred Pits. It's a matter of taste and your lifestyle as to which breed is better suited to you. Neither is better.

In doing work, a siberian husky, but in fighting a pitbull.

The pitbull because it has a stronger bite pressure and is more aggressive and vicious. A siberian malamute can win a fight with a pitbull though because it has thick fur to protect from injuries and is quite bigger than a pitbull.

Both breeds are amazing for what they were bred. Huskies are work dogs, generally quite observant and intelligent. Huskies are physically very strong and stand up well to cold weather environments. Pitbulls are very intelligent, loyal, physically powerful, and fiercely loyal. Both can do very well with young children, typically better if introduced to the family after the child is born. Both breeds are better suited to a family if strictly kept in the role of Beta, Gamma, or Omega.

A Siberian malamute is much stronger than a rottweiler in doing work, but a rottweiler has a more dangerous bite. The rottweiler. Is a akita stronger than a Alaskan malamute?

Usually an Akita would be stronger than a Malamute, unless the Malamute was particularly large. Akitas are generally bigger and have more muscle tone/weight than Malamutes, so in most cases an Akita would be stronger.
