It is a very nice place for a holiday. Plenty of sun, sea, sand, culture and history. You need to be in Athens for a few days. You need to travel to Rhodes, Corfu, Santorini, Mykonos, East Crete Heraklion, Halki, los, go to Kefalonia - once voted to 10th place in the worlds scenic beauty league. Go to a travel agent and get the brochures, it will be worth it

I wouldn't suggest for you to do anything too straining whilst on holiday, as you go on holiday to relax, but do what you do on holiday and go for a nice long walk/jog/run, and if you go somewhere surrounded by mountains, why not go rock climbing?
