I don't remember if it was an ad I received in the mail or what, but I do remember seeing something that struck me as odd... I was not aware that Value City was closing down any of their stores but it makes a lot more sense to me now... The ad that I saw for the Memphis VC was an ad stating that every single item in the store was marked down at least 20%! It also stated that the advertised sale was ONLY good for the Memphis store and was not valid at any other location. I clearly remember this ad because I thought hmmm, either they really wanted to clear out a bunch of items to make room for all the x-mas sale items OR they are planning to close the store. Although I don't know sure and I am not an official source, I think it is safe to say that yes, it looks like the Value City store in Memphis Tennessee is going to be one of the locations that is being liquidated. If that's the case then you better go out and snatch up the deals before they are gone! Lol, "I hate to see you leave, but I love to watch you go!" -C.C. of Memphis
