That would depend on how wealthy you were. If you were comparatively rich you would probably have lived in a very elegant house but if you were poor you would probably have lived in over-crowded, disease ridden squalor which you would have to share with other families. Rich or poor, you wouldn't have had inside Plumbing.
in 1843, London was very differrent to what it is now, people were much poorer and some were much richer the money was different the houses were different and the money was named and valued differenty.

London 1843, most modern trappings of Christmas are from Victorian England or Germany. Some from Germany, (xmas tree, advent calendar, tinsel, bauble). Father Christmas (St. Nicholas) is Scandanavian. Some are from America (Santa Claus, Rudolph from May Corp, ad campaigns) Turkey is obviously from America, traditionally in UK it was Goose before Turkey.

London is a great place with lots of tourist spots! Some landmarks are Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly, and Kensington Palace. One might also want to go to Warner Bros. Studio, British Museum, Tate Modern, or the London Eye.
There are some Victorian era saints but not all saints are Victorian.
The London Eye is probably quite famous in England, so would Buckingham palace be to! I have not really heard of anything else that famous?! :) x
