Charing Cross
5:16 in the morning, arrives at Charing Cross at 6:14
Yes, your train to Dover goes from Charing Cross; so simply get the Piccadilly line to Leicester Square and then change onto the Bakerloo line for one stop to Charing cross.
Go from London Charing Cross or London Bridge station, where there are direct trains to Ashford, Folkestone, Dover, Ramsgate, Tunbridge Wells, Dartford and Gravesend. For Maidstone, Rochester or Chatham, it's probably better to get a train from London Victoria station.
It depends on which part of London and which part of Kent and your form of transport.
Take the underground (tube) from Heathrow to either Victoria or Charing Cross stations. From either of these two stations, you will be able to get a direct train to Hastings. The complete journey should take about three hours.
If you mean Mainline Railway stations, there are quite a few, all running with different train companies. The Main ones are probably: Charing Cross (SouthEastern Trains) Waterloo (SouthWestern Trains) Euston (Midlands) Kings Cross St. Pancras (Eurostar) Paddington (First Great Western) There are some others, but those are the main ones. Hope this helps!
The cheapest and probably quickest way is by rail. The best option is to go from London City Airport DLR station to Woolwich Arsenal and then get a Southeastern train service from Woolwich Arsenal to London Charing Cross. Once at Charing Cross, get the London Underground Northern Line to Leicester Square and then the Piccadilly Line to Heathrow Airport. Although this journey may sound quite complicated it is the best way and the services are frequent. Alternatively you could take a taxi which would probably take longer and be considerably more expensive but will obviously make the journey easier.
approx. good 1hour drive.. train may vary depending on which one u take. For example the great western train would only take you 15-20minutes as it is really fast but others may take longer.
King's Cross in London
The fastest journey is by travelling via London St Pancras International and then travelling to Heathrow by the Tube - this journey takes around 2 hours. Alternatively, travelling via London Charing Cross or London Victoria and then travelling to Heathrow by the Tube takes around 2 hours and 35 minutes.
== == For ever; Manchester is 200 miles from the channel coast. Take a flight or a train (train is quicker) from Manchester to London Euston; transfer by taxi or tube from Euston to Charing Cross or Victoria; train to Dover; shuttle bus to ferry; ferry to Calais.Total time about 9 hours including 75 minutes on ferry.
