These countries were formed after the dissolution of the Socialist Federalist Republic of Yugoslavia: Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM), and 'Yugoslavia' (Serbia & Montenegro). There was a lot of fighting that happened to the nations of the former Yugoslavia in the early 1990's. All these countries were fighting for their own boundaries during this time.
A very wide variety of weaponry had accumulated in the former Yugoslavia during this time. It would be quite impractical to make a complete list. The Yugoslav M59 (SKS variant) and M70 (AK variant) were the primary weapons, as well as AKs from other countries. A Yugoslav copy of the MG42 and the PK machine guns were commonplace. Weapons both from western and former Bloc countries were to be found there.
Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia were two countries that were once behind the Iron Curtain but no longer exist in their original forms. Czechoslovakia split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia in 1993, while the former republics of Yugoslavia fragmented into several independent countries during the 1990s.
Croatia was part of Yugoslavia till the early 1990s. (Slovakia is to the north of Hungary).
Yugoslavia broke up in the 1990's following a harsh Civil War during the breakup of the Soviet Union. Today the states that make up the former Yugoslavia continue to fight with one another whilst the EU(European Union) continues to try to make peace in the area and incorporate them into the expanding trade partnership between currently 27 European countries.
Change in Europe's map after WWI:1. In 1907 during the WWI, a revolution broke out in Russia and Russian Empire ended. Many small independent countries were set up at Western Baltic area.2.Austria Hungary was split into 3 independent nations: Austria, Hungary, and Czechoslovakia.3.German Empire ended and had to cede land to neighboring countries.4.Serbia set up a Slavic State in Balkan and is named Yugoslavia.
