It is a poor country and in the 16th century British people took all their Natural Resources so now they have to borrow money from the countries which are rich, and they put a big interest on their money.
Also they have a high mortality rate, and a low life expectancy, and a high Birth Rate, but some how this means they are overpopulated. They don't have all the clean water systems and sewage systems that richer countries have and they have no technology to fix that.
I think.
because Ghana is poor.
yarp :)
It is LEDC because it has a gross domestic product of 2,400 whereas the US is 42,000.
+ farming land deteriating
Ghana is at this current point in time an LEDC (less economically developed country) so it is not that developed, no.
Ghana is an ledc:Ghana is an LEDC country because in the late 16 hundreds the British came and took all their natural resources and now they have no industries. As a result of this Ghana has to borrow money from the rich countries and they charge interest on the money. So Ghana got into debt and still didn't have the correct natural resources for a good life, so they became and LEDC. Ghana has a high birth rate, low life expectancy, etc. and these are signs of being an LEDC because these factors are usually due to the hygiene and living conditions of the people who live in the LEDC. Note: Ghana is not now, nor has it even been, considered a LEDC by the UN Human Development Report. They are listed as a medium developed country.
Yes, it is but what makes it a LEDC?
