Europe has four main climate types:
1. Maritime Climate:
Basically a mild temperature year round. There are mild to warm summers and cool winters. There is also no such thing as a dry season. This climate is mainly in Western Europe.
2. Mediterranean Climate:
Summers are warm to hot and winters are mild. Temperatures generally never fall below 13˚C during winter and rarely rise above 26.5˚C during summer. This climate is around the Mediterranean Sea.
3. Subarctic Climate:
This is one of the coldest climates on the planet and is experienced in Northern Europe. Winters are long and frigid. Summers are short and cool or mild.
4. Continental Climate:
There is a large contrast between seasons in continental climates. Winters are cold and summers are hot. This climate is experienced in Eastern Europe.
It depends on where you go in Europe. There are really four types of climates in Europe: Mediterranean (southern Mediterranean Europe), Humid Continental (Eastern Europe), Subarctic (Scandinavia/Northern Europe), and Maritime (Western/Central Europe).
In a Mediterranean climate, weather is generally good year round. The winters are cool, wet, and windy while the summers are hot and calm.
In a Humid Continental climate, weather varies drastically between seasons. The winters can be frigid or cold while summers are blazing and humid.
In a Subarctic climate, weather is generally cold year round. The winters are long and frigid while the summers are short and mild to cool.
In a Maritime climate, weather is generally good year round, though cooler than in a Mediterranean climate. Winters are not too cold and summers are not too hot, there is also no such thing as a dry season (which means there is lots of precipitation).
There are four main types of climates in Europe. Southern Europe is a Mediterranean climate. This climate is defined as mild, windy, and wet winters with hot, calm summers. Western/Central Europe is a Maritime Climate. This climate is defined as basically one season year round; winters are cold to mild while summers are mild to warm (there is also no dry season). Northern Europe is a Subarctic Climate. This climate is defined as freezing winters and cool to mild summers. Eastern Europe is a Continental Climate. This is defined as cold winters and hot summers (basically drastic change in weather per season).
It depends on what part of Europe you're in. Spring is warmer in Southern Europe than Northern Europe. But it is typically mild throughout the continent.

Italy in the spring there could be climatic conditions, but the weather could be unpredictable. At times temperatures rise like in the summer and then they suddenly fall down bringing snow.
It all depends on where you live, and what the weather is like that time of year. In Indiana, we get most of our warnings during summer-fall. We have had one in the fall
