This applies to England & Wales at least, (But i t Northern Ireland to)
THE LAW AND UNDER 18'S IN PUBS :FACTS:
1) No body under the age of 18 can buy any sort of Alcoholic drink in a pub.
2) No body under 18 can serve Alcohol to any one in a pub, even if the customer is clearly over 18.
3) 16/17 Year old's can Legally drink (Beer,Cider or Mead ONLY) in a pub if they order a meal and one or both of their Legal parents/guardian's order the Alcohol & Meal and they have the Landlord's permission.
4) There is NO fixed legal age that someone has to be to enter a pub in the UK, but The Landlord(S)/Staff do proffer all customers to be 18+, or at least 14+ especially after 8/9PM ish, The Landlord(s)/Staff do have the final say for under 18's in their pubs.
5) You have to be 14+ to order a soft drink, i.e Coke,Lemonade and other common soft drinks In pubs but this is not a strict rule, But i think it is just because it doesn't look very good or responsible for say "A 12 Year old to order a soft drink at 10:30PM at night with loads of Adults drinking Alcohol around him/her at a bar".
These are just the basic laws/rules for most pubs in the UK or at least England & Wales but Scottish and N. Irish laws are at least 99% the same as English & Welsh laws regarding Pubs (etc)
*THIS INFORMATION IS ALL 100% CORRECT, THESE ARE THE LAWS REGARDING 2012 AT LEAST AND PROBABLY 2013 (ETC)*.

There is no age for a shotgun, however the age for any other firearm in 18 I believe. However all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

No, it is illegal in the UK to practice gay-straight conversion therapy on under-18s. The government has committed to banning conversion therapy in the country, recognizing it as harmful and ineffective.
There is no law in the UK to stop kissing. Yes, it is...
I think it is fair to say not as many now as there once were. Pubs in UK are shutting on a daily basis. There are fewer people with money to spare & the supermarkets are all powerful in the commerce of the UK at the present.
Law in the United Kingdom is not much different than other countries; "Case Closed" means the case is over, under UK law.
no
None from the United Kingdom nor the Unites States, and I suspect neither the rest of NATO. Some Afghan people may begin fighting at young ages. However, both the UK and the USA allow certain under-18s to enlist. Both countries have policies forbidding the deployment of under-18s to any combat zone. However, it has come out that several dozen under-18s were deployed to Afghanistan during 2003-2005; in both countries' cases, the deployments seems to be anomalies (either mistaken orders, or mass deployments of units without proper checks on eligibility), and, so far, have not been repeated.

All citizens of the UK have equal rights under the law. In the UK it is illegal to discriminate against someone because of their race, religion, gender, sexuality or disability and that includes Welsh people!
