The Albanian Flag is a Pelasgian symbol by the Albanians, it means an imperial tradition of the albanian people who where, first under the Roman Empire, and next with it's successor Byzantine Empire. The flag was also an emblem of the most important feudal family (the royal family) the Kastrioti, that early was an vassal of the Byzantine Emperor. After the fallen of Constantinople, was created the first Albanian state, they used the "Kastrioti" flag who was with an two head and the davidian star in the top. The first recorded use of the two headed eagle were the Illyrian recruted soldiers under several Roman emperors with Illyrian origin. The Albanian two-headed eagle depicts the people of Albania, who call themselves as sons of eagle.
