What is the drinking age in Brussels?

There is no legal age limit on drinking alcohol in Belgium.

Of course there are laws about child abuse, so giving too much alcohol to children is not allowed.

To order or drink alcohol in a bar or pub you must be 16 years old if there are no adults (+18) with you. For strong drinks that is 18 years old.

The most European countries have a drinking age of 18. But Germany, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Liechtenstein and Portugal allow 16 year olds to buy and consume beer or wine, but you have to be 18 to buy or consume liquer. Their are some further exeption: Luxembourg has a drinking age of 16, with no restrictions. The UK has a drinking age of 18, but a 16 year old may consume beer, wine or cider with a meal in a pub or restaurant if it is ordered by an adult. Cyprus, Greece and Malta have a drinking age of 17. Some scandinavian countries restrict persons 18-20 from drinking alcohol, but in a 3 countries you can drink some kind of alcohol with 18.

You can drink at any age in Belgium.
But you must be 16 to go to a pub without adult governance. You also must be 16 to buy alcohol in a shop. (but in most places it is no problem if you are not looking too young)
Of course you have also laws about child abuse (so a nip of a glass is no problem for a child but a glass is too much).
And there is a law about being drunk in public (and that is beside the law of drinking and driving).

There is none. In Brussels or in Belgium for that matter. You can drink if you're five, if you feel like it. The laws concerning drinking are much more lax in Europe then in America.

There is no minimum age for buying/drinking beer. It is illegal to sell liquor to anyone under 18 years old.
