I dont know for sure but its around 33 to 34 dollars an hour including a benefits package and cambridge is a different local but you can travel , the job is highly competitive and you would want to make sure you can learn everything you possibly can on the job through an apprenticeship to make yourself more valuable to the job , I am not one myself but i know they do great work and despite what others may say and hear about the union they are not lazy at all they love what they do and take great pride into not being a hack , its really like any job out there you'll have a few bad ones but the majority of the guys are good and they want to stay working so they do so I hope this helps you. oh yeah and remember this even if your in the same field and you believe the unions are bad , believe me they are not they fight for the workers and they help set the line or reference point of what that trade should be getting paid , just look up prevailing wage and what that does for a non union worker working on a non union job in the city , i dont know the ins and outs but i do know more than the union guys benefit from it and when you get paid what you think your worth or more than it you do a better job! sorry for any poor essay typing skills but this was a ruff draft but now i have to go on looking the answers i was looking for when i saw this post thank you and i hope all is well
