Wyoming is a diverse state. Most of the eastern side is 'High Plains' - a high elevation prairie region. The western side side has mountain ranges and rangelands. Wyoming is the least populated state. There are numerous national parks and recreational areas, as well as historic trails and sites. Agriculture, mining, travel and tourism are the mainstays of the Wyoming economy. If you enjoy mountains, wildlife, and camping - Wyoming is a great place to visit. The Tetons are amazing and Jackson Hole is fun. There is typically plenty of snow for winter activities as well.
