if anybody knows the climate of Massachusetts's bay, please let me know it is cold
the real anshwer is it was like 10c
It depends on which part of the state you are asking about. Boston, for example, has a moderate climate with very changeable weather. It can get hot in July or August (into the 90s), but heat waves do not tend to last long. The same is true for winter: while there have been years where it snowed a lot (see for example the Blizzard of 1978), there are other years when it barely snows at all. Boston does get quite a bit of humidity, and March can be very rainy. Generally, January is Boston's coldest month (single digits, or low teens), and July is its warmest (upper 80s and low 90s). Contrasted to Boston's climate, out on Cape Cod, there is sometimes more rain and wind, and more intense effects from storms over the ocean. And in Worcester, in central Massachusetts, there seems to be a zone that gets far more snow than Boston (which is just 45 minutes away). Similarly, western Massachusetts also tends to get more snow in winter than greater Boston does. I enclose a link to a very thorough assessment of the climate in the entire state of Massachusetts.
Humid Continental with some maritime influence. Keep in mind that the temp in Boston is usually taken at Logan Airport which essentially is a a peninsula so
the air temp will be warmer in the Winter and cooler in the Summer. The City itself and the metro area fall well within the Koppen definition of Humid Continental while Logan Airport is on the border or isotherm between Humid Continental and Humid Subtropical. However, in reality there is nothing even remotely subtropical about Boston. Heavy snow and ponds frozen from late December to early March does not sound like there is much suibtropical influence depite what the classic Koppen folks might suggest.
the climate would be cold. the geography caused them to be limited on contact.
