People in Ireland, in the olden days, believed that there lies a pot of gold at end of the rainbow. Nowadays, the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow means the realization of dreams.
Leprechauns, the mythological fairy-folk of Ireland, are said to have a pot of gold which can be found at the end of a rainbow.
Ireland---where leprechauns live at the bottom of a rainbow wtih a pot of gold :)
Realistically, There is no end to a rainbow, for the reason that a rainbow is a circle of continuous light. Unrealistically, a leprechaun hide gold at the end of a rainbow, at the time no one knowing that there is no end to a rainbow. Why gold? It was a pot of gold because gold was a precious metal and Ireland has no gold, unless imported. Gold being higher than silver in the market. A pot of gold meant lot of $$$
i think it is Ireland because of the pot of gold and lebracorns like gold and come from Ireland so that's why i think it is Ireland

Leprechauns kept their gold in caverns below mountains in Ireland which they mined from places as far away as Scandanavia. There are only 236 Leprechauns left in Ireland now and they live below Foy Mountain in Carlingford Co. Louth Ireland. The gold is still in caverns all around the country which are linked by tunnels to the cavern on Foy mountain.
If you travel to Ireland in 21 BC you would find a magic rainbow with infinite gold supply. This is no longer available sadly.
There is not a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. If you thought that there was, the isn't. It's just an old tale, and there can't be a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow because a rainbow is a circle. The other halve that we can't see is invisible.
