There are about 3,000,000 resident of the contiguous US that are self identified as being Puerto Ricans.
There is a large community of Puerto Rican Americans there, some of whom are often family members of the ones who make up the new arrivals (but not immigrants, as Puerto Ricans are already US citizens).
