What currency do Ireland people have?
As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, the currency used in Ireland is the euro (€). The Republic of Ireland, as a member of the European Union, adopted the euro on January 1, 2002, replacing the Irish pound (punt). The euro is the official currency used by the people in the Republic of Ireland for daily transactions.
Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom, uses the British pound sterling (£) as its currency. Please keep in mind that currency information can change, so it's advisable to check for any updates, especially if you are planning to travel or engage in financial transactions.
