Which is understandable considering Hawaiians had their land stollen from them by America, were beaten and killed for their lands. Diseases brought in from Americans killed off about 75% of Hawaiians and in modern day, caucasians look down on Hawaiians and consider them lazy, fat and ugly while at the same time wanting Hawaiians to give them Hawaiian names and teach them about the Hawaiian culture.
If on oahu, avoid anywhere other than Waikiki and downtown. Some parts of the north shore could be bad for your health as well.
