The Ghutra:
The Ghutra is a square scarf made of cotton & and is worn Folded into a traingular shape with the fold in the front over the Gahfiah, Whilst the Ghutra is worn in a variety of colours through the Middle East, in Kuwait it is generally white. Not only is the Ghutra worn formally but also it can be worn casually, depending on the wearer's desire.
الغترة هو وشاح مربع مصنوع من القطن ويلبس مطويا في شكل مثلثي على القحفية ، وبينما ارتداء الغترة لها مجموعة متنوعة من الألوان من جميع اناء دول الخليج العربي ، في الكويت هو ابيض عموما. ليس فقط هو الغترة يرتديها رسميا ولكن أيضا يمكن أن يرتديه غير رسميا، اعتمادا على الرغبة في حينها
The Igal:
Igal is a doubled black cord that is used to secure the Ghutra in place. it is usually made from tightly woven goat hair & sheep's wool.
العقال هو حبل مضاعف اسود التي تستخدم لتأمين الغترة في مكانها. وعادة ما يتم صنعها من شعر الماعز والمنسوجة بإحكام او صوف الغنم
The Gahfia:
The Gahfia is a small cap which is worn underneath the Ghutra, It helps to keep the Ghutra from slipping, its always white & comes variety in styles, In Some countries the gahfia is worn by itself without the Ghutra, and when it is, it can come in a variey of colours, However in Kuwait, it is more usual for it to be worn underneath the Ghutra
القحفية هي كبوس مقضض صغير التي تلبس تحت الغترة، فهو يساعد على الحفاظ على الغترة من الانزلاق، يأتي دائما باللون الأبيض ويأتي ايضا في أنماط متنوعة، وفي بعض البلدان يتم ارتداء القحفية في حد ذاته من دون الغترة، وعندما يتم، فإنه يمكن أن تأتي في تشكيلة من الألوان ، ولكن في الكويت ، فمن المعتاد أن يكون لبسه تحت الغترة
The DishDasha:
The DishDasha is a loose garment which covers the whole body down to the ankle. The Dishdasha is an Important symbol of equality and is so suited to the climates of the Middle East that it's design has changed little in hundreds of years . In hotter months, Men tend to wear white robes, whereas during the winter many people Wear a DishDasha that is made from Wool, which are often Darker colour. They are usually worn with loose white trousers underneath called Sirwal Mekassar. The DishDasha is Sometimes accompanied by a Bisht. This loose robe is worn on top of the DishDasha, espacially in colder weather. Bishts Are made of cotton or camel hair or Sheep Wool and are always trimmed with beautiful golden embroidery.
