Interstates are part of the federal network of major roads. Kansas contains two interstates. Hwy 70 runs east and west and connects into Kansas City. Hwy 35 runs primarily north and south. It also connects into Kansas City. Wichita is a major city along Hwy 35. Also besides highways there are other roads.
