Main foods in Japan nowadays are like they are stated above (Which is also very traditional Japanese food) but all kinds of other foods are extremely popular, like McDonalds, Kentucky fried chicken, Doughnuts, all kinds of pasta sauces, Chinese foods, curried rice - Japan nowadays eats all kinds of food that can be found in other countries the younger generation are ever ready to try all kinds of food and are more likely to want a Mac burger for lunch than a rice balls!
