The basis of Russian exports in January- September 2013 to foreign countries are fuel and energy products , the unit weight of which is 74.8% ( in January-September 2012 - 73.2 %).

In January - September 2013, the exports of energy products increased compared to January-September 2012 by 4.0 % and 7.7% physical . Moreover, the exports of fuel and energy products has increased, such as motor gasoline by 50.9 % , diesel fuel - by 22.7 %, coke - by 16.9 % , natural gas - by 21.2% , liquid fuels - by 12.0% of coal - 12.4% to non-CIS countries. Crude oil exports has decreased by 1.6%.

In general, the value of exports of metals and products from metal to foreign countries in January- September 2013 is to 7.5% ( in January-September 2012 - 8.8%). The volumes of exports of ferroalloys has decreased by 9.0 % , semi-finished products of iron or non-alloy steel by 17.0% , flat rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel - by 10.7% , copper - 17.3% .

The share of exports of chemical products in January- September 2013 is 5.2 % ( in January-September 2012 - 5.5%). Compared with January-September last year the value of exports of these products has decreased by 5.1 %. But the exports of inorganic chemicals has increased by 2.3% , organic chemical compounds - by 9.4 % , nitrogen fertilizers - by 6.2% , rubber and their products - by 9.1 % , plastics and goods - by 22.4 %. The physical volume of exports of potash has decreased by 21.8 %.

Exports of machinery and equipment in January - September 2013 is amounted to 3.3% ( in January-September 2012 - 3.4%). The exports of machinery has increased by 20.6% , the optical instruments and apparatus - by 3.5%. The value of exports of electrical equipment has fallen by 7.6%.

Exports of foodstuffs and raw materials for their production in the commodity structure of exports in January- September 2013 is amounted to 2.3% ( in January-September 2012 - 2.8%). Compared to January-September 2012 the export of these products has decreased by 17.2 %, and physical - by 29.9 %.

Exports of timber and pulp and paper products in January- September 2013 is remained at the level of January- September 2012 is 1.8%. The exports of this commodity group has increased by 1.9 %, and physical - by 2.1%. Physical volume of unprocessed timber exports has increased by 5.4% , plywood - by 5.4% , sawn timber - 2.7%. The volume of exports of newsprint has fallen by 27.1% , cellulose - by 11.9 %.
