The Northern part of Bucovina and the Southern part of Bessarabia are occupied now by the Ukrainian invaders - after the Ribbentrop-Molotov pact from August 1939.

The major part of Bessarabia is now a separate state called Moldova (do not confuse with the province Moldova of Romania).

Now Romania is divided in 41 counties (judeţe) and the capital (Bucharest) municipality.
