According to my book, The Best 351 Colleges, the SAT or ACT, and a High School Diploma or GED is required. Also, the credits in high school required are: 4 English, 3 Math, 3 Science, 2 foreign language, and 3 Social Studies. To them, the very important factors considered in an applicant include: secondary school record and standardized test scores.

Other factors considered include: alumni/ae relation, character/personal qualities, class rank, essays, extracurricular activities, recommendations, talent/ability, volunteer work, and work experience. Usually, around 55-60 percent of applicants are accepted.
