The Bay of Fundy is between Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. However Nova Scotia is a peninsula (pin inch u la) and not an island. So we are not actually separated from the rest of Canada. A peninsula is an area of land that is surrounded on all sides with water EXCEPT one little arm that connects it to main land. An island has no above water connections to other land masses.
