Yes, Edgewater Park was on the North West corner of 7 Mile Rd and the Rouge River which was a little over 200 feet West of Berg Rd. The river being how it got its name. Shiawassee Drive was the Western border of the park. It was about equidistant in opposite directions from Grand River Ave & Lahser Rd., often advertised as "near Grand River," and "between Grand River & Lahser."
