Yes!!!!! If you mix a Miniature Schnauzer and a Blue heeler and mix them you the animal (Only avable in Nashville) US $100.00!
I have that mix and let me say that Timber (his name) is one of the most loving and faithful dogs I have ever had. He is great with my nieces (1 and 4 years old), but because of his Blue Heeler side, he does have his own mind set. He is a very smart, almost deviously smart dog. When we moved to a new home he learned to jump and climb the fence so it was a daily contest between he and my dad as my dad added to the fence to make it harder for him to get out. He held his own until my dad added a rolling post to the top of the fence that kept Timber from getting a footing and getting out.
They have the most expressive eyes and mouth of any dog I have ever seen, you can tell their mood just from the lookos they give you. Such a cute dog. I recommend them to anyone who has the patience to deal with their playful mischevious side. If you can, you'll be rewarded with one of the best friends you ever had.
(To the previous answer, I apologize if it seems like I'm trying to take your thunder, but I love Timber to death and am so proud of him. I brag on him more than my brother brags on his daughters lol)
A red Heeler is just a red Heeler it isn't mixed with anything. Australian Cattle Dogs aka Heelers come in two different colors red and blue.
No it's not illegal pit bulls are banned in some areas so a pit mixed with a heeler could be banned but it's not illegal to breed Any breed of dog I'm not talking about wolves or dingos but standard dogs.
The Miniature Schnauzer is classified as a terrier while as the Standard Schnauzer and the Giant Schnauzer are classified as working dogs.
Cats can get along with any animal they are raised with, it is not limited to only Blue Heeler dogs.
Australian Cattle Dogs can also be called Queensland Heeler, Blue Heeler (dogs showing the 'bluish'gray and black coloring), and Red Heeler (reddish colored dogs.) Stumpy tailed versions are sometimes referred to as Smithfield Cattle dogs, but in fact the Smithfield heeler is another breed again, with a different shaped body.
I have two Pomeranians and one Blue Heeler. The Blue Heeler is a medium size dog and the Poms are smaller than the Blue Heeler. All three dogs have gotten along well. If you socialize the dogs slowly and train them properly, most big dogs and small dogs will do well together.
All dogs appreciate affection. If you own a red heeler, you should pat it - but not when it's eating.
Australian kelpie and Blue heeler.
A schnauzer and a poodle.

Are you referring to Lancashire Heeler? If so, their lifespan is 9 to 14 years. A Blue Heeler, Australian Cattle Dog or Queensland Heeler live an average of 10-15 years. The record breaking dog of this breed lived to be 29 years old. Working up until the day he passed.
A Wirehaired Heeler, also known as a Wire mouth heeler, is a type of Australian Cattle Dog with a coarse, wiry coat. They are intelligent, alert, and energetic dogs known for their herding abilities and loyalty to their families.
