No. Puerto Rico is a little more than twice the size of Long Island.

Puerto Rico's area is 3,515 sq mi. It is about 100 miles long (east to west) and 35 wide (north to south.) it's shaped like a pig without feet so the length and witch are pretty consistent.

Long Island's area is 1401 sq. mi. It is 119 miles long (East to west) at its longest point, and 23 miles wide (north to south) at its widest point. However long island tapers to two thin stripes of land to the east.
