One Greek myth on the creation of man is that they were created from the earth. However, the most common is that Zeus gave the job of creating man and all the animals to the titan Prometheus. Prometheus gave all the gifts to animals such as shells for turtles or wings for the birds and there was nothing left for man. Prometheus gave man fire as a gift and Zeus chained him to a rock for doing so. Zeus believed that man needed to be weakened so all the goddesses created women, with beauty, grace, charm, lies and seduction.
