∙ 11y agoI was wondering how often the landlord needs to replace carpets in NH? If someone else lived there and I/m moving in, what do they have to do? Thanks Sally
Carpets should be cleaned every 18 months. However, those who have pets, children, or smokers in the household should clean their carpets every three months.
don't have a clue
Yes, only if the Landlord accepts. This is usually a request by a Tenant that is most often denied by the Landlord.
Carpets can be if you are allergic to the type of material from which they are made. Carpets can also become dirty, collect germs, and collect allergens such as tobacco smoke and cat hair. Carpets can cause physical injury if you somehow slide across them. Carpets often are not allowed in the kitchen or dining area of restaurants because of sanitation reasons. There is no way to completely disinfect a carpet.
How much and how often can a landlord raise the rent?
Kirby recommend you change the bags on their vacuums every month, unless your home is larger than 2000 square feet, you have recently laid new carpets or you have pets, in which case you should change it every 2 to 3 weeks.
In nearly every area, a landlord has the obligation to provide a rental that is habitable and safe. Bed bugs (lice and similar nasty critters) are a serious health hazard. They often require fumigation of the living space. Mattresses and carpets can be full of lice and their eggs. That sounds like something for a professional, but it is doubtful that there is any specific requirement that he must hire someone. Your county health department can help you.
how often does the landlord is required to paint apartment, even after moving out
Mosses are non-vascular plants that often grow in dense carpets. They can form lush carpets in various habitats, providing ground cover and helping to retain moisture. Mosses do not have true roots, stems, or leaves.
Who is responsible for such things as smoke detectors is probably defined by local ordinances, but it is most often a responsibility of the landlord.
Ignore them.
