Completing 12 quests for a king. 1. He had to kill the Nemean Lion, a giant with unpiercable hide. 2. Go kill the Hydra, a monster with 9 heads that if one was cut off, 2 more would grow back. 3. Bring me the stag with golden antlers. 4. Bring the wild boar. 5. Clean out the royal stables in one day, this one was hard because the stables were HUGE and the horses were mean. 6. Kill the brass-beaked birds who inhabit the swamp where boats always sink and swimmers always drown(this one required help from Athena, goddess of wisdom). 7. Bring the great bull that lives on Crete. 8. Steal the man-eating horses of king Diomedes of Thrace, who threw a big party when Hercules arrived and gave him a room to sleep, if it's not obvious, the king hates Hercules, so he informed Diomedes in advance and told him to kill Hercules in his sleep, a maid told this to Hercules, so he didn't go to sleep, he got up and remove the horses 1-by-1 from the stables and put them on his ship, at dawn, there were 2horses left, and a guard spotted Hercules and sent for the king, there was a big fight, and when it was over, Hercules had beat all the guards, and one of the horses had eaten Diomedes. 9. Bring the golden belt of the queen of the amazons, the amazons were warrior women that had never been beat. 10. An ogre stole the kings cows, this task was to get them back, and the ogre wasn't just big, it had 3 heads and 6 arms. 11. Get three golden apples, only the god Atlas, who held up the sky could pick the apples, so Hercules had to hold up the sky while Atlas got the apples. 12. Get me Cerberus, said the king, Cerberus was a dog who guarded hell, Hercules brought him to the king, and left to go to the temple to thank the gods, then set out on a life of adventure The End
