All local city and county knife laws were pre-empted by Senate Bill 1153 which was signed into Law on 4/28/10. Local municipalities cannot make knife laws, only the State can.

There is no specific length limitation. A person cannot carry a concealed knife or weapon, except a pocket knife, manufactured and used for the purpose of offense and defense.

Yes. There is no such thing as an illegal knife in AZ. Under 21, can't carry a "deadly weapon" concealed. The only thing specifically identified as a "deadly weapon" in AZ statutes is a gun. Anything else would likely be considered on a case-by-case basis, in court.

Under 21, concealed carry of a "deadly weapon" is prohibited, but pocket knives are specifically exempted and only a gun is specifically defined as a "deadly weapon". Any other item would likely be considered on a case-by-case basis, in court. Over 21 and open carry are unrestricted.

There is no such thing as an illegal knife in AZ. Basically, there are no knife laws except for a preemptive law that forbids municipalities from making knife laws. This means, you needn't worry about city ordinances, either.
