Yes they are WONDERFUL pets. I have one of my own. When they are puppies they are spazmotic but when they turn atleast 2 they learn how to act. They are always ready to play! When they are puppies They LOVE to chew on fire wood, shoes, and fingers. When they chew on fingers (only as a puppy) that is normal for all dogs. They chew fingers because they want to chew something. When you first have your Boston terrier, You must keep them in a crate while they sleep.

I'm not sure what the IQ is for a Boston Terrier, however, based on everything I've read, I know they're quite intelligent. Research shows Boston Terriers are easy to train, because of their intelligence.

Sorry I couldn't give you the exact answer you were seeking, but I do hope this little bit of information will help you.

Most terriers are smart and stubborn. I have a Scottie and a mix terrier of some sort and both of them know what they want, when they want it, and how they want it. You have to work with terriers to get the dog you want because they are so smart and stubborn.

Boston Terrier's are much more intelligent then Pugs. Both are very good companions but Bostons can learn much easier.
