No, it sold around 4 million copies, and shouldn't be too hard to find second hand.

Technically game store if you're willing to purchase Oblivion or Skyrim. Morrowind and Daggerfall are harder to find. Might as well look for the older two on online stores.
I recommend Oblivion or Skyrim for a softer gaming experience since they're the newest games. Morrowind, the third game, is pretty hardcore, but it represents a lot of early and old game mechanics that aren't present in the latest Elder Scrolls games. Morrowind is a lot more difficult than Oblivion and Skyrim, and some old Elder Scrolls players argue that the latest games have been "dumbed down". The first two games are difficult to find and start up/install, so I wouldn't recommend playing them first.
At the end of the Tribunal expansion's quests, you'll be told to find him, and the way will be opened to his lair. You just have to proceed through each part until you reach the end.
Yes. It's call elderscrolls.com . Because of the newer Elder Scrolls game, Oblivion, it's decorated according to Oblivion gameplay and things like that, but you can still find Morrowind in there somewhere. There's also a map of Tamriel on the site too that shows all the provinces so you can look at what the mainland of Morrowind looks like and not just Vvardenfell.
