Apparently Milton Bradley was involved in a patent dispute but ended up with a patent for their Chinese Checker Board in 1941. My 4180 Board is presumed to date from our family about that time. Could the first two digits of the product number be the year of issue?

The box measures 19.1/4" x 10" and features a B & W picture of the Babe, and a facsimile signed "My own authorized Baseball Game, "Babe" Ruth" around the flaps of the box. Game pieces include wooden pegs, 85 game cards, scorecards, and game board. I have seen this game sell in the $300.-$400. price range in less than excellent condition.
