Yes, the Longshot CS-6 is in many ways a superior blaster to the Longstrike CS-6.
I honestly think the longshot CS-6 is better than the longstrike CS-6.
There are many ways to modify your Longshot CS-6, so type it in on Google on Yahoo and you will get tons of answers.
If you go online then yeah i did and i love it. Go to the Nerf website and look around it you'll find it. be sure you get the longshot instead of the longstrike the longshot is onebillion times better also buy extra bullets it only comes with 6. Update: 2014. They released the Nerf Longshot CS-12. It features a new color scheme and a 12 dart clip. However, it is missing the small front blaster and the bipod.

As of July 2013, the Nerf N-Strike Longshot CS-6 has been discontinued. A person can still purchase the Nerf N-Strike Longshot CS-6 on Amazon at a much higher price point.
The Longshot itself does not need batteries, but the tactical lights (one is a mission kit and one comes with the Recon CS-6) need AAA batteries.
yes (simply as I can put it)
No, unfortunately the only darts you can fit in a Longshot CS-6 are Streamline darts. Inserting Dart Tag Darts into the blaster will ruin the blaster.
