the only way to do it is if the wolves were allergic to chicken or something!

∙ 12y agoYes, chickens for example, lay eggs without mating. That is where we get eggs for eating. The eggs sold in stores are not fertilized and can never hatch and become chickens.

Without knowing what type of animal 'he' is it is hard to say. Any animal not eating is not a good sign though and it would be best to seek professional veterinary advice for your animal.
They will peck at manure. Manure attracts bugs and bugs is good eating. The hens are not actually eating the fecal matter, they are eating the insects that are eating the manure.
