You can get a 4D hypercube by beating the the guy in the university at Chess, a 4D bottle by arm Wrestling the guy in the bar, and a mobius strip by turning in some coca to the cops or the coca guy. Give these to the Professor Ansel in the university to get the key. Beware as the lab is a combat zone ending with Professor Ansel himself who is carrying a huge laser gun.

the way you get the lab key in stick rpg2 is by getting the 4D hypercube, then getting the mobius strip, and the klein bottle (It doesn't matter what order they're in). Then when you have all the 4D items, you go to U of S university into the back room and giving it to the red guy. Then he says thanks for finding all the items I need to work my machine. And then he gives you the lab key and tells you to meet him at the lab.
